| | All contributions generously made by public bodies or private citizens to the “Mario Negri” Institute for Pharmacological Research in the form of donations, endowments, legacies or bequests are used to reinforce the Institute’s research programs on diseases affecting mankind and to fund study grants and fellowships for young scientists who will be doing tomorrow’s research.

All donations made by private citizens are tax deductible up to an amount not greater than 10% of taxable income with a maximum of 70,000 Euro (Decreto Legge 14 Marzo 2005 n. 35)
For donations from the United States there is the Mario Negri Institute Foundation. With reference to Articles 13 and 14 of Law number 383 of October 18 2001, transfers in favor of legally recognized not-for-profit institutions like the Mario Negri Institute are exempt from tax.
To the benefactors can be dedicated buildings, laboratories, scholarships and research programs. The Mario Negri Institute is grateful to private citizens who, with their contributions, testify their appreciation for the Institute’s work on biomedical research and professional education of scientists.
